On April 4, 2024, Sabrina’s team teased that new music was “brewing”. Resulting on the single being officially announced four days later—beside a 7″ vinyl and cassette—with a release date of April 11, 2024, alongside a radio-friendly clean version. Two days later, Carpenter performed the song live for the first time at Coachella.
